PORT O’CONNOR — Team Slickline caught a 693-pound tiger shark during the fifth annual Sharptooth Fishing Tournament Saturday. The shark set a tournament record for heaviest shark caught. The team finished in first place to win $5,000 and earned another $2,800 for catching the heaviest shark. All of the meat from the tournament was donated to the Fisherman’s Chapel in Port O’Connor to feed the hungry.
