Stab is a 1997 biographical slasher film. It first appears in Scream 2 (1997 film). According to the fifth and sixth Scream instalments, it was released in 1997. In reality, it is a fictional film-within-a-film, and a meta parody of slasher films, established as a gag reel within the Scream sequels.
