CGTalk HCR MINI-Challenge #43: Magic Door - Monsters Inc

I had a couple of ideas that instantly popped into my head when I saw magic door, one was the Monsters Inc door mechanism. I did a quick first concept of how I kinda of want my door/environment to look. The door mechanism part should be relatively easy, for the most part I’ll just be using the movie as the main reference for measurements. This is still the first concept so I need to develop further, and for what I actually want on the door.
