The official website of the Mahoutsukai Reimeiki (The Dawn of the Witch) television anime revealed on Friday three additional cast, first key visual (pictured), and first promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 8 at 01:28 a.m. on TBS, followed by BS11. Reina Iwasaki (Adachi to Shimamura animation director) is designing the characters. The anime adapts Kakeru Kobashiri's fantasy adventure light novel of the same name, which launched with illustrations by Takashi Iwasaki in August 2018. Kodansha's Ranobe Bunko imprint shipped the fourth volume on November 2. Tatsuwo began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Sirius magazine in July 2019.
