Architect Merlot, The Waltz of Death, is an Assassin Architect who serves as a miniboss found on Whitesummit inside of the Red Corner in Blackwater Grotto. When defeated, he has a 1 in 5 chance to drop one of his weapons, those being the Silent Blades and Sanguine. He will also give the player 5000 renown. (bounty or fame depending on what the player has) Merlot uses Poison Magic and his weapons' skills, signifying he is a Conjurer. Architect Merlot's positive renown equivalent is Commodore Kai.
